1-DAY FORECAST OUTLOOK & ANALYSIS*

BOLAVEN (JULIAN) is expected to move rapidly NNE-ward during the next 12 to 24 hours. On the forecast track, the core of BOLAVEN will continue to traverse Northeastern China...and will be over Eastern Russia on Thursday.

Maximum Sustained Winds (1-min. avg) have decreased to near 65 km/hr (35 knots) with higher gusts. A decrease in strength will continue throughout the forecast period.

The following is the summary of the 1-day forecast outlook on this system:

THURSDAY MORNING: Dissipating over land as it traverses into Eastern Russia [5AM AUG 30: 50.2N 142.9E @ 55kph].

*Please be reminded that the Forecast Outlook changes every 6 hours, and the Day 3 Forecast Track have an average error of 250 km...while the wind speed forecast error, averages 35 kph per day. Therefore, a turn to the left or right of its future track and changes in its wind speed must be anticipated from time to time.
