Tropical Disturbance (LPA) 99W (FALCON) in the brink of becoming a Tropical Depression while moving NW across the Philippine Sea.

Residents and visitors along Eastern Visayas, Bicol & Luzon should closely monitor the progress of 99W (Pre-FALCON).

99W's (FALCON) broad circulation still consolidating over the Philippine Seas with its westernmost outer rainbands now affecting the coastal areas of Eastern Visayas. Below are the summary of the depression's parts and its hazards affecting specific areas:

DEVELOPING WESTERN RAINBANDS - affecting & spreading along the eastern coast of Samar, Dinagat & Siargao Islands. Tropical Depression Conditions w/ moderate to strong winds (30-61 kph) can be expected along these bands (click here to know more about Rainbands).
