BREAKING NEWS: As of 8:20 AM today, Eye of FANAPI now making landfall over Eastern Taiwan, just south of Hualien City.

Powerful Typhoon FANAPI (INDAY) now off the shores of Eastern Taiwan...Landfall expected in an hour - just to the south of Hualien City. Typhoon Conditions now occurring across Eastern Taiwan.

Residents and visitors along Taiwan, Fujian and Eastern Guangdong should closely monitor the progress of FANAPI.
